WAIVER GUIDELINES:  Before gear can be picked up, a waiver MUST be completed for all gear rental.

If no BCD’s or Regulators are being rented, whoever is listed as the contact person must complete one waiver.

ADDITIONAL FEES MAY APPLY:

  • If you keep the gear longer than the period you originally reserved it for.  It will be your responsibility to make note of the price per day or week and ensure that it is returned on time to avoid being charged for additional days.  You will be charged for the gear if it is in your possession, whether you use it everyday or not.
  • The gear is returned un-rinsed/un-cleaned.  The dive staff is happy to show renters how to properly rinse and clean the gear.
  • The gear is lost, stolen or damaged.  Replacement costs are as follows:  Tank $275, BCD $375, Weights $6/lb., Weight Belt $30, Regulator $500, Wetsuit $100.

Q Do I need a Wetsuit?

Although the temperature is typically very nice year-round, sometimes in the colder months, the wind is a bit chilly after a dive. For diving, shorty wetsuits are provided upon request. If you are planning on bringing your own, the water temperature in the winter usually gets down to 78 degrees.

Water Temperature Ranges:
January – April 78-81 degrees (Wetsuits Recommended)
May – December 81-85 degrees

Q Do I need to be certified to rent Scuba Gear?

Yes. When you fill out the waiver, you will be required to take a photo of your card and enter your information as it appears on your card.

If you can’t find your card, please call or email ahead of time so we can help locate your information. In most cases, given some time, the Crew can look your card up, but it is best if you have a digital copy of your card to eliminate any difficulties.
