Anglers staying on St John can join this trip by taking the People Ferry to St. Thomas before the trip, and then taking the People Ferry back to St. John after the conclusion of the trip. The Dock is located directly next to the People Ferry Terminal in Red Hook. This specific split charter does not offer pickup on St. John in order to maximize everyone’s fishing time.
Enjoy some of the greatest Virgin Islands inshore fishing on a beautiful 37’ Calypso Sport Fishing Boat. Inshore reef fishing usually provides lots of action bottom fishing with light tackle on reefs 50-150′ deep for snappers, groupers, jacks, triggerfish, barracuda, kingfish and other species. A day of fishing will prove to be exhilarating, while still relaxing, and the most memorable part of your vacation. You’ll travel with a professional Captain and Crew who are focused on providing you with the ultimate charter experience.

Please bring sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. It is also a good idea to wear a long-sleeved shirt and bring a light jacket in case of rain. Your snacks and/or lunch are welcome onboard.

This trip runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
The Pick Up location will be in Red Hook, Saint Thomas. The boats are located on the dock at American Yacht Harbor directly behind the Ocean Surfari retail store located on the right side next to the Red Hook People Ferry Terminal.
Guests are covered by the fishing licenses the Charter carries. Individual licenses are not required for fishing in the waters of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Captain and Crew make every effort to target your fish of choice, but your catch will depend on the time of year, fishing location, and sea conditions.
Yes, you can keep what you Catch! Guests are welcome to take as much fish as they can utilize during their stay on the island. Several resorts and restaurants on island are happy to cook your Catch! Marlin are catch-and-release only.
Yes. Complimentary filleting of your Catch will be provided, keep all the fish you wish!
Yes, we are happy to arrange for your trophy fish to be mounted. We partner with a fish mounting specialist which has been in the marine taxidermy business for more than 50 years.
