LIGHT UP THE NIGHT is BACK!
This year, Love City’s favorite fundraiser will take place on January 18, 2020 in Franklin Powell Park starting at 6pm. Come “Walk the Block” in honor of cancer warriors and loved ones who we have lost.
Team Registration:
Last year, we had 16 teams participate in this amazing community event, raising almost $60,000. We hope to DOUBLE the number of teams and raise $100,000 for 2020!
We will be using a new platform for team registration this year and would like to open participation in Light up the Night to our followers and supporters who cannot be with us on island in January. This will allow off-island teams to organize from afar, participate in fundraising and “walk” with us!
Stay tuned for information on how you can virtually walk with us and raise money for cancer warriors on St. John! Registration for both virtual and on-island teams will be open by mid-November.
Entertainment:
The evening’s festivities will kick off at 5:45 PM with a children’s parade starting at Mongoose Junction. There will be live music from COOL SESSIONS & VerCtyle Band, a Kids Zone with face painting and games, delicious food and, as always, the infamous DUNK TANK. DJ Adonis will be the master of ceremonies, emceeing and pumping up the crowd to keep walking the block.

The St. John Cancer Fund lightens some of the financial burden for STJ residents undergoing treatments. Light Up the Night is the most important event of the year in support of our mission. Bring your light and help support this important cause at our annual fun and family-friendly event!
