VI JAM FEST
VI JAM FAM! This one will be a little different, for sure! We won’t be having our usual VI JAM FEST with big bands and stages, but we are having live music (solo and duo acoustic sets) at the Windmill Barl for VI Jam Fest weekend from noon until 10 p.m. Free of charge. Social distancing and masks on when standing required. And until the rules change, we can’t dance. It’ll be chill and seated- 3 days and nights of fantastic music!
We’re stoked about the lineup which includes Shred Is Dead, featuring musicians from The String Cheese Incident, Thievery Corporation, RAQ, The Big Wu and Creamery Station, plus Joey Harkum, Bubba Love Music, Ike Kanakanui, The Little Things duo, After Irma, IslandGirlMusic – Erin Hart, and Tyler Perrino.
Open 11 a.m – 8 p.m. Daily
Join them for Happy Hour from 3 – 6 p.m. at the best sunset spot in the Virgin Islands! They offer a full bar with a nice selection of beer, spirits and a few options for wine. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a green flash as the sun dips below the horizon. Cheers!
We do not take reservations, in general. To get a good spot for sunset, arrive around 4:00 p.m. – the earlier, the better.
The Estate – Neptune’s Lookout
The Windmill Bar is part of Neptune’s Lookout, a recreational estate. It includes the Susannaberg windmill which was erected in the 1780s. Estate Susannaberg is a former sugar plantation that was purchased by Mr. Neptune Richards in the 1940s. His descendants are the current owners of the estate which includes the windmill, the bar, a 9-hole disc golf course, and a campsite. It’s the perfect spot to watch the boats sail by, the sun set, the moon rise, and the night sky.
